Old friends, new fun

This past month we had the opportunity to visit with a couple of wonderful friends. Onna and Glen Oliver, and Jeff and Jennifer Kinard. They came to Orlando for vacations, and we got to spend some time with them. Love it when people come to visit (hint hint to all those other friends out there).


Onna and I have been friends since our days of teaching Kindergarten together...before we both had kids. We were pregnant for the first time together and our kids all still love hanging out together. We stay with Onna each summer in Utah for a few days, so it was fun that her and Glen could come to our stomping ground. We went out to dinner one night, and then had a wonderful day at the beach. We even saw dolphins and some enormous schools of fish.

We also had a fun day with the Kinards. I went to school with Jeff Kinard, (we met in 7th grade), but have not seen him much since high school...except at our reunion. He and his darling family were vacationing here, and they went to church with us, and spent most of the day with us...and apparently all our kids became best friends. Such a fun day and fun to get caught up.
